I watched a thunderstorm last night. Our balcony was facing the storm, so I had a near perfect view. Anyway, watching the lightning and waiting for the rain was a very peaceful and calming experience. I wrote a tanka that sums up most of my thoughts.
Lightning fills the sky
Powerful and beautiful.
When you see your life
As a flash in the dark night
Nothing can disturb your sleep.
