The commercials worked on me, I had to try the BK Quad burger.
The meal in itself wasn't bad per se, but I had very high expectations and the burger didn't live up to the hype. For one thing, I was still hungry after I finished the burger and fries. It didn't really fill me up much more than a big mac or big bacon classic. I was expecting it to be a battle, but I ate it just like any other sandwich.
And for some reason, I was expecting the flavor to be, I don't know, more burger-ish. If you have a certain taste for one single patty, than 4 patties should give you four times the burger flavor, right? It tasted like a regular cheeseburger to me. Which isn't bad, but it just seems like the extra patties don't really add anything special. I think my experience of the BK stacker would be pretty much the same with only the two patties.
On the plus side, it is cool to say that I ate four patties on a single bun. Sandwich bragging rights and all...
Overall, I'm glad I ate it once, but I wouldn't order it again. I would just order the two-patty. The same taste for less price.
