Back-with-another-one-of-those BLOCK-ROCKIN' BEATS!

That's right my friends, Random Incongruence is back. And now even more randomized and incongruence....ier?

So for those of you who haven't figured it out, I finally have my internet! I hate to admit it, but I really missed having the ability to quickly and easily lookup random sports trivia. Actually, what I miss is trying to get Adam to look it up for me, and then telling him that he's wrong when he does. Anyway, the point is that I have my internet, and now that blogging actually makes sense, I thought I'd jump back in and try it again. So without further ado...

  1. Go Tigers! I watch at least 1 game a week and I don't even LIKE baseball.
  2. Sports scandals. I am sick of hearing about Vick, Bonds, and Donaghy. I can't even watch ESPN anymore. Attention SportsCenter, Mike and Mike, PTI, Around the Horn, Baseball Tonight, and soon to be NFL live: I know that these are huge stories that have major implications to their respective sports, but I'm burnt out. I don't need to hear about it every two minutes. How about a once-a-week update until something actually happens.
  3. Free money. I got a letter the other day from MSU saying that I have two checks from 2001-2002 that are uncashed. Combined, they total about $1500. HOLY SHIT, MOTHER FUCKER! It's cool that they sent me this form, because without it I would have never known, but did they have to wait six years to tell me about this?
  4. Item number four has been intentionally left blank.
  5. Harry Potter. There were people lined up in front of Barnes and Noble for DAYS to get this last book. Both Meijer and Target had hundereds of copies for sale that were still available at about 6pm on whatever day it came out. My question is this: Why were people lined up for so long? If they are that devoted, wouldn't they do their homework about where and when the books will be available? If you could buy the book across the street RIGHT NOW, would you wait for hours in a huge line for your copy?
  6. Memory of Light. For my sake, Robert Jordan needs to finish this book as soon as possible. Nobody will be lined up to get a copy when he finishes this beast, but they should.
  7. Food and exercise. I have been terrible lately. I eat too much crap and the only exercise I get is from work and Wii. So I'm going to try to be a little healthier this week. We'll see if can stick to it for more than a day. (Hint: probably not)

And last but not least (because I know you were just waiting for it)

Something to Ponder! (Anyone up for some irony?)

"Blessed is the man, who having nothing to say, abstains from giving wordy evidence of the fact."
- George Eliot

Yay! You're back! I've been waiting for about two years now for this post, checking day-in and day-out. Finally my persistance has paid off!

I wonder where my 1500 dollar MSU check is? That would be handy right about now.

Wii exercise is just like real exercise, right? Or is it just throwing your arm as hard as humanly possible at a television screen repeatedly? Eh, either or.

Number 4 intentionally left blank??? Only you.

My previously last post was September 2006. I haven't been off for more than 1 year.

And I got the intentionally left blank thing from both Dave Barry and Jon Stewart's America: The book. You would have laughed, but you never get my jokes until I explain them, and by then it's too late.
