Tigers - We finally won a series! I guess when everything comes together, it REALLY comes together. Beating the Yankees 16-0 is impressive. Now we need keep it going. We are only a few games behind, in both the AL Central and in the wild card race. It will be tough to catch-up without Sheffield, but by no means is it impossible. If we can end the season on a win streak, and we will probably make the playoffs. If we play like we did in June and July, we will not.
Fantasy Football - As of 9:30 last night, Michael Vick is still rated higher than Joey Harrington by Yahoo Sports. I guess they figured Harrington has a good chance of negative points.
Football - I am sick of meaningless football. The pre-season does not matter. Shorten it down to two games, and let's get down to the actual season.
Wii Football - I just had my ass handed to me on a plate by the Eagles. My record is 2-1 so far, with Chicago looming. I'm hoping to get to the bye week at 3-2 at least. I have the same expectations for the actual Lions.
USA Basketball - Good show fellas, but there's a big difference between playing the Virgin Islands and playing Argentina. Let's save the accolades until we win Olympic Gold. Nothing less is acceptable.
Women's World Cup - The USA needs to dominate this tournament. No excuses. If the WNT plays to the best of their ability, I am confident that we will win. It's just a matter of focus and execution. We have a younger, hungrier team this time around. The current team has some gigantic shoes to fill, but a world cup win is a great way to start.

The thing that makes me so mad about the Tigers is that we shouldn't be behind anybody right now. It's not like the Indians have played out of this world. We've just managed to play terrible while the Indians have managed to just be bad. It just makes me so frustrated. My blood is boiling now. Great. Grand. Wonderful.
Haha, I didn't notice that about Harrington and Vick...I was hoping you'd take Harrington. That would have been fun to watch. Like a cancer that slowly kills your fantasy team.
I'm ignoring all preseason highlights until the real stuff comes on (lie).
I haven't played Madden on the Wii in a week now. I should be shot.
I watched the USA in the first quarter against Canada. It's like a college team playing an elementary team. Poor Canadians...
