I don't understand how the Tigers can be 11-17 since the All-star break. I don't understand how our much vaunted starting pitching can have just 1 win in the last 22 games. I don't understand how we can split a four-game series with the Devil Rays, THE WORST TEAM IN BASEBALL RIGHT NOW! We lost the last two games by a combined score of 15-2.
We need to pick it up, lock it up, lock it down, or whatever. We need better hitting, better pitching, and we need to close out these last months well. We need to start winning some games, or we will not make the playoffs. It's that simple.

I remember, except the Red Sox weren't close to contention last year. This time around the Sox and Yankees are both gonna get in the playoffs.
