Today I was accused of being "facetiously agreeable." I think that's a pretty apt description of my usual attitude, and for that matter my entire life. (Just for the record, I WAS being a smart-ass, but when I offered my actual opinion, that too was unacceptable. I can't win!)

I finally connected my notebook to to my wireless network! I'm typing this blog entry from my living room! *Warning: Computer Nerd Talk* The problem was that I disabled the SSID broadcast, so when I changed in the wireless ethernet card, the new card couldn't find the network. It took me a long time to realize this, however, so I had been playing with the Windows connection wizard for the last few days trying to get a connection to a network that my computer couldn't see. When the solution eventually dawned on me, I had to log on to the internet through my Wii to change the network settings so I could broadcast. *End Computer Nerd Talk*

I hadn't been going to the YMCA for a while. (slacking, I know) I finally went back yesterday and did a huge work out. Arms, legs, abs, the whole works. It felt good, but I paid for it this morning.

I hadn't been to McDonalds for a while. (Slacking, I know) I finally went back yesterday and ordered a huge amount of food. Big Mac, fries, Coke, apple pies, the whole works. It tasted good, but I paid for it this morning.

I played almost every Wii game I own over the weekend. Mario, Rayman, Guitar Hero, and all of the sports games. I looked at the total play time for Saturday and Sunday: 13+ hours. Thats almost 7 hours a day! Good times.

WBAGNFARB... Dave Barry for "would be a good name for a rock band"... figured it'd be easier to google it than ask you to explain.

It's funny you mentioned working out and McDonalds - I was going to blog about both. I am proud (is that the right word to use?) to say I am developing a little bit of a gut (probably only like 5-8 pounds heavier than I used to be, but who cares) This is due to a combination of 1. switching from a job where I walk around all day to one where I sit in an office chair all day and 2. not playing hockey since I moved to Columbus.

On Saturday, I tried McDonald's Angus burger. I figured I should since I live in a "test market". Are Lansing or Baltimore test markets? Anyway, it actually was pretty good. The burger comes in 3varieties - deluxe, mushroom and swiss, and bacon. The ingredients in the deluxe (like the lettuce, cheese, and onions) tasted better than typical onions, lettuce, and cheese at McDonalds. The burger tasted more like a burger you would make at home than a fast food burger, but I still think the Burger King Angus is more tempting.

I haven't been to McDonald's in about six months. I had no idea there even was an Angus burger. What has happened to me? I used to eat fast food all the time...I don't even know who I am anymore.

A hardcore workout followed by a gigantic McDonald's meal...That's like giving a homeless person five bucks, then immediately taking it away from him and laughing in his face. You did good at first, then erased all the good by doing bad. Yes, I am terrible at analogies. Shut your face.

If it makes you feel any better, it took Grace and I good full day to get our wireless up and running. That's still two days less than you (I mean, there were two of us working on it), but still, sometimes it takes a good amount of time. Glad you can blog from your living room now.

Your Saturday and Sunday sounded like a dream. Do your eyes hurt from staring at the TV so much?

I don't think Lansing is a test market. I didn't study the menu that carefully, but I don't remember seeing an angus burger.

Setting up the wireless network itself wasn't a problem. I've had my Wii wirelessly connected to the network since I moved in. I just couldn't find the network with my new card. I hate you.

That was a fine analogy. It makes sense to me anyway. And at least they balanced each other out.
