I disagree that they will beat the East team. All of the stars in the NHL play in the East. I am definitely more worried about the 2nd and 3rd rounds. I've gotta say, a 2-1 win (which it essentially was due to the empty netter) is good, but leaves me a little worried. They left a few scoring chances out there.
...but I'm always negative except in the Tigers case.
Did anyone else catch Darren McCarty out there? Stacey instantly put on her #25 jersey and proceeded to wear it the rest of the night.
You disagree that they will lose to an East team because all the stars are out East? Usually it's a TEAM that ultimately wins a championship, not the one guy who's a star on his team...I mean the Capitals barely even made the playoffs- it came down to the last game for them. Teams over superstars.
But we all know the winner will be the team with the hottest goalie. Haha, shut up, that came out bad. But you know what I mean...

I tried typing more about tonight's game, but it just came out as the "generic sports interview."
Feels good to win, we still have a long way to go.
I'm not worried about this round, it's those potential second and third round match-ups that I fear.
Prediction: If we can make it out of the Western Conference, we will beat whoever represents the East and with the Cup.
