Wipeout

It's like....I mean....I can't....I don't even know where to begin.

Ok. It's a shameless rip-off of Ninja Warrior/MXC. But instead of picking people who they think could beat the course, they just picked random people. Some of these people would have trouble climbing a flight of stairs without a handrail. But the course is ridiculously hard, so watching them try to do these obstacles is just awful, and yet somehow, also hilarious.

But it gets better! One of the commentators is John Anderson. Yes, Sportscenter's John Anderson. With a telestrator! Awesomeness.

The worst Ninja Warrior guys could easily win these events, but the show is more concerned with watching people fall than finding a winner. At times it seems closer to America's Funniest Home Videos than a game show.

What can I say? It's so terrible, that it becomes funny again. *Sigh* I'll probably watch it again next week.

Damn it! I missed that show? Oh, right, because I was still doing my job at 8:45pm.

I love Ninja Warrior - I saw the first girl ever to win Women of.. this weekend.

Still working at 8:45? That's rough.

I have to say that I like Ninja Warrior more, but Wipeout is funnier.

My greatest relief is that the show did NOT spend endless amounts of time interviewing every contestent. (ahem, American Gladiators, ahem)

I'm actually a little tired of all the ESPN guys hosting these games shows...but eh, maybe that's me. Just stick to the sports, please.

I'll take the original MXC, thank you very much. Although this one is pretty funny =).
