Abbreviations are for writing, not speaking!

Attention Ad-Wizards: Units of measurement are only acceptable as abbreviations in written form. Any radio commercial that actually pronounces abbreviations such as MPG or MbPS, rather than saying "miles per gallon" or "megabits per second," will automatically make me hate your product.

Also, I will punch the next person who says LOL to my face.

Agreed!

And I think when people say 'lmao' to your face it's worse than 'lol'. Not only are you not really laughing, but you are nowhere near laughing your ass off (because I would know what close is when it comes to laughing your ass off).

Well, anyway, I guess I know what I'm saying to you when I see you next. That's settled.

I've never had someone say lmao to my face.

...and I probably shouldn't have told you that.

Which is worse:
Someone saying the letters L.O.L., or someone pronouncing lol as "loll"

Normally I say the letters, but if some uses lol as a past tense verb (I lol'd yesterday), I say that's the worst.

Haha, to me they are all just awful...it's personal preference on what level/ring of hell you want to stick that person on.

But they definitely deserved to be damned, that's for sure.
