Despite my fascination with insanity (nowhere more evident than on this blog), I am also interested in rationality. I really liked this post from Less Wrong about the problem of generalizing from one example.
I've only read this one post, but I'm sure the whole site is great.

I've actually read more than one post on Less Wrong and there is a LOT of interesting stuff on the site. You should check it out.
And the hell-of-it is, I somehow still manage to consider myself a rational being.
"And here I'd gone through life thinking my teachers were just inexplicably bad at what they did, never figuring out that I was just the odd outlier who couldn't be reached by this sort of stuff."
Yeah, I've got tons of those kids =)
Haha, tons of kids who think you're an inexplicably bad teacher?
Nonsense! I'm sure there's a darn good explanation for your bad teaching.
Haha, nope, I'm just that bad =).
