- "When there's nothing left to burn, you have to set yourself on fire." - Stars

Man that sounds cool! But I have no idea what it means. Ideas?

- I hate Tiger Woods right now. Not because I think what he did was right or wrong, just because the "scandal" steals time off my ESPN shows that could be devoted to things I actually want to hear about.

- We The Living is the most depressing book I've read since Paul Auster's The Book of Illusions. I can't read anymore Ayn Rand right now, Anthem will have to wait.

- It was 2007 an hour ago, and yesterday I was 12 years old. Hopefully, time will become arbitrary before I die, because it seems like life is stuck on fast-forward. I guess I must be having fun...

- The snow seems a lot colder than I remember. I have no idea what that means either.

Are you a Stars fan????????

Grace and I keep talking about going to Canada to go see them sometime, since they rarely bring themselves down to the U.S.

I love them. They've probably moved to my 2nd favorite group.

"When there's nothing left to burn, you have to set yourself on fire."

I feel like it has to do with something like self-destructive behavior (ruining the relationships/things around you, with only your self to ruin last), but who could know with musicians and the true intent of their lyrics. It could mean popcorn machine for all I know.

I wouldn't call myself a Stars fan, at least not right now. I've only listened to the one song. (and I really only remember the first line)

If we were living in the dorms and you were playing them over and over again though, I probably would be a fan...

As for the quote itself, wow, I was way off. My guess was it was about self-reliance, not self-destruction. I guess it depends on if you interpret burning as a positive or a negative. Haha, I should probably look at the rest of the lyrics and get some context...nah....

You're right, who knows with song lyrics? Let's just go with popcorn machine.

Hmmm interesting. I never viewed the quote in a positive light. Makes you think.

Popcorn machine is easiest to agree upon.
