Definitely summer. Twice as many countries compete in the summer games, so it feels more like a world showcase. Plus there seems to be something for everyone- from tennis to swimming to gymnastics- and I like that kind of variety.
I used to love the winter games when I was younger, and there's nothing wrong with them, I just get more enjoyment out of the summer.

Hmm...tough one.
Summer is probably better for attending live events (it's warmer). Plus the summer games were the originals.
But Winter has more exciting events and translates to television better.
I think I have to give the nod to the Summer games, but it's really close.
