Ice Breaker

I love little puzzle games like this. This game reminds me a lot of Lemmings, even though the gameplay is completely different.

Ice Breaker

Ice Breaker: Red Clan

I cleared all of the maps, although for some it was more luck than skill. A few levels require you to be very precise with your actions, and this game just isn't made for that level of precision. It can be frustrating when you figure out the solution, but you have to keep restarting and restarting to get the timing exactly right. (Especially in the later levels) But I suppose it makes the victory all the more satisfying.

(And because I can't pass up a single opportunity for an XKCD link...

How do you do level 4???

Just cut on a diagonal so the big slab with the two guys in it falls into the boat. Once it's on the boat you can chop it into managable chunks for your captain.

The two above the boat are gimmies.

If level 4 has you stumped, the rest of the game is going to be pretty rough for you...

There's only two guys in the level, right? But there both on rocks that can't be cut...there's ice above though. And the boat isn't near the guys!

Ahh, you mean level 5.

Notice that each ice block is suspended by 2 pegs?

If you slice off one of the pegs, the ice will swing around on the other peg. It swings hard enough to knock the guys off the rocks and into the boat.

Hmmm...can you come down and here and show me what you mean?

Ooo or use your webcam or take a screencast of how to do it.

I'm going on vacaction to Illinois with my family, I'm not at my own computer right now. But we're not leaving until tomorrow, so if you Skype me at my parent's house, you can watch my screen as I beat the level.
