Old Music

I was rummaging through my closet, and I found a bunch of my old CD's. Most of them went right back into the back of the closet, (they were stuffed in there for a reason...) but I found my old "Adrenaline" CD that I used to listen to before soccer games. I put a few of my old favorites on the music bar so you can get a gist of the CD. Pretty terrible music, but it works. After listening to these songs, I'm ready to go bust some heads! (...or maybe just go work out...)

I have these really vivid memories about making the weekly drive up to Wixom for midnight soccer games, listening to this CD on the way up to get me all pumped up for the game....and listening to it on the way back to keep myself from falling asleep. These are some pretty weird songs to be nostalgic about, but then again, I guess I'm a pretty weird guy. So it makes sense....sort-of.

My car didn't even have a CD player. I had a special cassette tape that would plug into my CD Walkman so I could play CD's on the car's speakers.

It was pretty sweet....

Haha, I used to have one of those set-ups as well.

I used to like the Monstars Anthem as well.

Were you ever a "Jock Jams" fan?

Haha, I loved the original Jock Jams CD. My sister stole it when she started playing competitively though. Her entire team built a pre-game warmup around that CD. I'm not sure whatever happened to it.

I did too =).

If something of yours gets stolen, is it at least some consolation to know that what was stolen was put to good use, or enjoyed?

Or do you just remain pissed that it was stolen in the first place?

Well, "stole" is probably the wrong word. She permanently borrowed it.

If I don't know or don't like the person who stole something from me, I get no consolation from their enjoyment. But if I like the person, then yeah, it's a consolation.

Unless it's a T-shirt. Stealing one of those is unforgivable...
