- I have not played a video game in over 2 months. Not for any particular reason, I have had plenty of free time, I just felt like doing other things. It's a weird feeling, I don't like it.
- I have, however, played plenty of flash games. Bloxorz is the one I've been playing the last few days. The puzzles are perfect: challenging enough that you feel a sense of accomplishment from beating the game, but not so challenging that it makes you tear out your hair. Fun game, I recommend it. (you know, for after you beat all those damn Ice Breaker levels....)
- I'm doing a radio diary next week for the Arbitron ratings. I did Nielsen last year and they sent me $3...Arbitron only sent me $1....what a rip.
- Comedy Central will be airing new Futurama episodes starting in June. Awesomeness. One of the top-5 funniest shows of all time is coming back! The 4-part "movies" were decent, but I think the show works better in single episode format. All Glory To The HypnoToad!
- The Red Wings clinched a playoff spot! It looked dicey for a little while there. I think it will be fun to root for them as an underdog this year. Goaltending is going to be weak spot though, we need either Osgood or Howard to get hot if we're going to make a run.
- My brother and I got to talking last weekend: How many movie sequels have been as good or better than the original? I came up with 4 : Terminator 2, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, The Dark Knight, and The Bourne Ultimatum. Got any others? (Ironman 2 comes out may 7th! Here's hoping I can add it to the list...but I'm not holding my breath...)
- Remember a while ago I posted that the best snack in the world was crackers, olives, and cream cheese? Well, I was wrong. The greatest snack in the world is: Pop-Tarts.

I'm with you on the video games things...going on two months as well. Like you said, just felt like doing other things.
I still don't understand how 'Angry Beavers' made your top-5funniest shows list. Baffling. And we still never found episodes of Rocko's Modern Life and Angry Beavers to see which is funnier (remember we once said we would do that?).
Thanks for the heads-up on Futurama! I had no idea!
I'm happy for the Wings. I was worried as well, and I think it's nice to have a year where we don't have all the pressure on us as the top seed. As long as we are higher than 7th and avoid Chicago in the 1st round, I'll be happy.
It's always action type or comic book movies that seem to get the sequels. Has there ever been a comedy or drama movie made that has had a good sequel???
Pop Tarts?!?! What is wrong with you????
The first comedy that jumps into my head is Clerks 2. Funny movie, but better than the original though? Tough call. There are lots of comedies that get sequels...its just that the sequels almost always suck.
The horror genre spits out tons of sequels too, but I don't really watch much from that genre.
Hell yeah Pop Tarts! It's the perfect snack: quick, easy, and delicious. You got something better?
Stacey and I are just about to take down Mario Wii. We're at Bowser's castle.
I did a radio diary a few years ago - I really can't remember how much money they sent me, but I think it was more than $1 or $3. Apparently my opinion is worth more.
Futurama: eh.
I think Howard will be good enough to take them to the playoff exit. Lose in Conference Semifinals.
I think I liked TMNT 2: Secret of the Ooze better than the original. Also, I liked Mighty Ducks 2 more with the villainous Team Iceland.
Best pop tart: smores. I have some in my pantry.
Good call on TMNT 2. I used to be deeply into the ninja turtles. I think I watched Secret of the Ooze at least as many times as I did the original. But I don't know if that makes it better than original or not...
But no way was Mighty Ducks 2 better than original. I still quote with my brother from the first one...I barely even remember the plot of the second one.
Smores!? They're good...not great. Strawberry is the best flavor.
I'm with Adam...MD2 was better. When they busted out the Mighty Ducks jerseys in place of their USA ones? That was cool. And you can still quote it! "It's knuckle-puck time!!!"
And what the hell is wrong with you guys? Pop Tarts? I can have maybe one every sixth months. More than that is just gross.
I don't know any D2 quotes because I think I only watched the movie once.
I think I liked the THIRD one better than the second, even without Emilio.
What?!? The third one was far and away the worst!!!
I think you just need to watch the 2nd a few more times...
"Two minutes...well worth it!" The Iceland player? I quote that after every fight-penalty in the NHL!
Or, "You guys wanna ease up a little bit? Eh, just thought I'd ask." Haha, I forget the name of the kid who said it though...the nerdy guy with the glasses.
The third one was pretty terrible, but that's how I remember the second one as well.
Either way, the first one is clearly superior to both sequels. It inspired the creation of an actual NHL team...it should win on that merit alone...
"'D2' follows the 'Sister Act 2' law of sequels. It is twice as sugary and half as entertaining as the original."
