I felt good when I woke up on Monday morning.
So, naturally, I panicked. Have I overslept? Did I forget to set my alarm? Am I late for work? The clock on the wall told me it was 6:25 am, 5 minutes before my alarm was set to go off. But I couldn't believe I could feel this rested at 6:25, I thought the clock had broken. I had to double check the time on my phone to be sure I hadn't overslept.
My first reaction to feeling good was panic. How sick is that?

True story.
Haha, tell it again, tell it again!
I think it's really weird to be honest. I've had this happen to me before, waking up before my alarm and feeling well-rested, and it always makes me feel extra good. It's like I am waking up on my own terms, not to some alarm. I feel in control, powerful, and ready to seize the day.
And you feel panicked. Interesting.
I think it's weird too.
Feeling good should feel GOOD.
...and once the panic subsided, it was nice to actually watch SportsCenter instead of half-listening to it while trying not fall asleep face first into my cereal...
