I like to listen to music when I write. I sit down in front of the computer, put the headphones on, and it's like I'm in my own little world. Most of the time it focuses me and I can get all of the vague ideas I've been mulling around onto paper. It's a double-edged sword, however, because I can get lost in the music and completely forget what I sat down to write about.
Sometimes the music wins.

This would probably make more sense if I had better taste in music...
That's pretty lost!
I can get lost for a song...but then I just go back to my writing and thoughts...I rarely forget what I was writing about.
